The first meeting of the last year of cub scouts. We opened with a little refresher on the joining knot (square knot) and the Boy Scout Oath, which is just different enough from the Cub Scout Oath to be really confusing! Both the knot and the oath are requirements for Arrow of Light, which all the boys will have the opportunity to earn this year.
Everyone welcomed our new member, Hunter, to the best den in Pack 604! We practiced the flag ceremony and there was plenty of advice and laughter when it came time to practice our skit to unveil our new flag and t-shirts to the rest of the Pack. I think it will be memorable and the kids will have a great time doing it. We ended with a little basketball, which earned
all the boys their Basketball Beltloop, if they hadn't earned it already. See you all at the Pack meeting Monday.
