Well, Our Fearless Leader couldn't join us for our regularly scheduled Monday meeting, leaving Second in Command alone at the wheel. Mr. Second in Command was a guest speaker, discussing with the boys some of the dangers of living in an area prone to hurricanes and some of the things they might think about including in their family's emergency kit. He also showed them one of the instrument tubes that NOAA drops out of the planes to take measurements as they fly through the hurricanes.
Then we moved on to the main event - the knife sheaths. Hopefully all the boys enjoyed themselves and will be pleased with their finished project. All I can say is it was LOUD - I had more than one neighbor peering over the fence - probably trying to decide if the police needed to be notified. We'll finish up with sewing them together soon and hopefully they will be ready to use at Cedarkirk.
