Red Cross First Aid training

At Monday’s Den meeting, your male leader was very disappointed that none of the Scorpions! rushed to his aid to help him with the gaping wound he had on his arm.  There were lots of eewws and yucks,  and even one rather boisterous, “would you please take that thing off your arm!!”  but no offer to help.
 
We are just lucky representatives from the Red Cross were there.  Ms. Salazar and Michaela presented us with a thorough training on first aid as well as the three C’s of an emergency situation.  Can anyone name the three c’s now?  Num nums at next Monday's meeting if you can.  Another num num if you can name the two c's of burn care.  We owe them a big thanks for helping all of you earn Readyman!   

Lots of camping opportunities are coming up.  There's Spook-o-ree if you signed up, Cedarkirk in Early November (I’ve heard rumors of high adventure)  and Back to Brownsea at Dead River Park in Mid November.  Hope to see you all there!!!
